Norges Golfforbund

Norges Golfforbund (NGF) er en av de største særidrettsforbundene i norsk idrett, med rundt 160.000 medlemskap fordelt på 170 golfklubber. Forbundet tilrettelegger for at golfklubbene kan gi et best mulig tilbud til sine medlemmer. I tillegg er NGF ansvarlig for elitesatsingen Team Norway Golf for amatørutøvere. Forbundet rapporterer til Golftinget som består av representanter fra medlemsklubbene. Norwegian Golf Federation (NGF) is among the largest federations within Norwegian sports. With a total of 160.000 memberships spread over 170 golf clubs, the federation facilitates golf offers regardless of age, skills and preconditions. NGF has the responsibility and authority to develop the Norwegian elite golf (amateurs) through Team Norway Golf as well as age-specific national teams. The federation also translates the Rules of Golf, funds research for turf and environment in addition to maintaining the world handicap system. NGF reports to the Golf Assembly consisting of representatives from the golf clubs.
